Simple summary

In this study, we examine how cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attacks or strokes, are related to factors such as age, gender, and socioeconomic vulnerability. To do this, we use data from the electronic medical records of individuals who had contact with a physician from the Intego network in 2023. In addition to the Intego data, we also use municipality-level data provided by the Independent Health Insurance Funds (MLOZ). By combining these two data sources, we aim to better understand which personal and contextual factors influence the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and how this varies between regions.

The goal of this study is to gain local insights into the relationship between cardiovascular diseases and socioeconomic vulnerability, so that policy measures can be better tailored to the needs of specific regions. We do not have direct access to your personal medical record. The data used in this study come from the Intego database and are pseudonymized. This means that they do not allow for the direct identification of individuals. Strict measures have been taken to protect your privacy and minimize the risk of identification.
