Intego: from registration by general practitioners to monitoring public health

Intego is a Flemish primary care registry. Thanks to Intego, disease trends in general practice can be mapped. Intego emphasizes the social importance of the general practitioner and their electronic health record. Because data are collected weekly, Intego is an important public health monitoring tool. Intego is financed by the Flemish Government.
